Much as I love my church, today I will probably stay home from it. (Fortunately, I can read the reflection online at the Reflecting Pool later. Or sooner, as s/he sometimes posts it before s/he says it!) (Yes, my pastor is a female/male unit.)
My son has come home for Thanksgiving, and it's my daughter's birthday weekend, and I feel homey. And thankful.
Plus, I can reflect right now on this post by The Bloggess: God and Jesus. It's like when your parents get on Facebook.
Your link needs a safety warning so we don't choke and spill hot coffee laughing. Last time I bought gas, a scary experience right there, the woman filling up at the next pump said, "Excuse me. I'm looking for someone to pray for. Are you by any chance having trouble with your teeth?"
ReplyDeleteThank God I had finished my morning coffee before reading your comment!!
ReplyDeleteThe he/she unit has posted.
ReplyDeleteAnd my code word is comes.
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the he/she unit!!
ReplyDeleteSigh...to the BLOG, I mean, to notify me of the posting of the reflection. For my edification on sheep and goats.
ReplyDeleteI hope no one was drinking coffee...
Thanks for reminding me of The Bloggess--that blog is the best morning pick-me-up!
ReplyDeleteThe Bloggess rocks! I read that particular entry of hers aloud to my son Sunday morning to advance his religious education.
