Winebulance
1) I ran out of wine. 2) I posted an excerpt from the journal of EIL founder Chris Al-Aswad over at Escape Into Life that amazingly matches the, uh,...plot of Middletown. I may have to pull a Librarian and read it to the cast... It's Good Friday?
On a somehow related note, one of my much loved old professors came in today and started up a conversation with me. He gradually worked it around to tell me he had Parkinson's Disease. This was not a new diagnosis or anything, and I had heard someone say he had some health issue. But I was very moed that he was trying to describe the longterm feeling of having this disease to me. I felt honored in some way.
I really liked that Chris Al-Aswad quote.o

How lovely, Seana. Yes, honored. And I imagine he was moved, too, by your listening.

ReplyDeleteDo you call Wine One One?
ReplyDeleteTee hee! I received many fine offers for wine, and a glass at lunch today with my mom!
ReplyDeleteI actually have some unopened wine in the rack, so the emergency was slightly exaggerated. I had just finished the opened bottle....
